Does anyone know of a george taylor who played for Oldham Athletic Club during the 1920's. He was married to Edith Holt and had a son Trevor. I have no information on the rest of George's family but they may have come from Chadderton. |

Thanks Cynthia. Through a football record database I have come up with George Taylor D.O.B. 23/01/1901 and a birthplace of Failsworth. I think he died around 1966 or1967. Does anyone have any more information on this person? |

Hi Bev, he may just make it onto the 1901 census so if you don't get a reply on here today from the people who look these things up, I would suggest that you post a message tomorrow on the Records page asking for a '1901 census lookup please' and give all the details above. I am sure someone will then come back to you. Regards. |
