need help with russian descendants

My great grandfather came from russia and was married to Emma his name was benjamin, and the given surname was taylor. He boarded with rebecca and harris silverman and their children. I am desperately trying to find out the original surname hope someone can help. He had a large family one being my grandad arthur taylor. Benjamin was the cinema manager for the easy road cinema in leeds.
