Find Ancestors

My Great Grandmother is called Ruth Taylor. I do not have DOB but do have year of death around 1939. Unfortunately I do not know the age she died and all I know is she died of Cancer. Her son, my Grandad was called Charles Taylor DOB 08.12.1915. Date of death Nov 1999. I am aware that my Grandad did not know his dad so do not have much to go on. If any one can help please let me know. Many thanks
