Find Ancestors

Trying to find these two. 1891 Census shows them living with parents Annie & William Taylor in Grantham district.I think their mother may be Annie Hind, my great grandfather's sister, daughter of Joseph Hind and Emily Fowler.
I am curious to find any trace of these two "boys" as research into Annie as mostly drawn a blank.

Not knowing what the B stands for in William's name ..... there is this marriage for a William BROWN Taylor which took place in Bedford, which is where they were living in 1881 and where the 2 boys were born

Peterborough is the registration district that includes Crowland, which is where William B Taylor says he was born





which means that Annie is not your Annie

My great grandfather's name was Joseph HIND, his wife was Emily Martha Fowler.They married on the 25/2/1845.
Joseph may have been born at Burton on Trent/Stepenhill as that is where his parents were married and his father, who died just 3 years after Joseph's death, is buried.
Obviously, as stated before, Joseph & Emily are "my" Annie's parents.

Joseph and Emily may be your Annie Hind's parents



but I am saying that William B Taylor did NOT marry Annie Hind ...... he married Annie WARDLE

that's if my line of reasoning is correct

and Annie Wardle is not your Annie




and you did completely ignore my postings!!




The only way to sort this out of course is for you to BUY the birth certificate for either William H W or Percy S


that would solve the question once and for all.



and that really is the only way to solve it!

I apologise if I upset you ! I was actually answering "Victoria's" question with my last posting, because she asked the question about "my" Annie's parentage!

I now accept that my Annie did not marry William B Taylor.
I will cease trying to find what became of her.

Not point in trying to buy birth certificates for the boys if their mother was Annie Wardle. Besides which I live in Australia, so that makes it a bit more difficult.

So i was asking what his name was, ie Annie's brother.....if we can pin point them all on ealier census records and have their place and date of birth, Annie should be easier to find.

is for instance, the 1861 census record that I posted the correct one??? you don't actually say where the family came from. All we know is that Joseph and Emily marrried in Nottinghamshire.

Your 1861 Census showing Annie Hind aged 10 is my family.
Annie's siblings were :Thomas 1845-81 married Susan Ward.
Mary-Jane 1847 married JJ Webster emigrated to Aust c1888.
Susan 1849-1938 married Mr Mettham of Grantham.
Annie 1851 - unknown
Joseph Taylor Hind 1852 -1929 married Esther Jenkinson in 1861. She died in 1906, he emigrated to Oz in about 1912.
JT Hind was my great grandfather.
Their father Joseph - Emily's husband came to Oz in 1852 going to the goldfields in Victoria. He died sometime later, no records found here. Emily later re-married a Samuel Davy.
