Find Ancestors

I believe my uncle was adoptedb y mothers family - mother Rose Hilda Davis- he was born 1 4 1923 ?one of twins - mother died shortly after birth.Last heard of in 60's in Gloucester?
His brother Willaim George - aso adopted by other family members.Dad wa Willaim John Taylor - died 1958 my 'grancher' of Broadwell near Coleford in forest of dean.I know nothing of him/family/ life and my family are all now deceased.
If anyone has any iformation I would be grateful.

Arthur and William George were brothers - I am led to believe twins.
Rose Hilda Davis was their mother my grandads wife - she died in 1923 hence both boys brought up be relatives.
I never met him - do not know if he or dad ever had much contact - dad went back to live with dad when dad remarried to lady called Annie - do not know maiden name.
There is half sister Margaret - now deceased who lived in Plymouth after marrying and lived there when she died.
William John - retired miner died of complications of coal dust on lungs in Nov 1958- ? believe he was buried with Rose Hilda but I do not know where yet.

My dad's cousin seemed to think that Dad and Arthur were twins?
But she is 90!
Maybe they were not.
Dad certainly born at Bilson Green I believe 1.4. 1923
Am confused by the C Davies in the name can you clarify as that is nto on birth certificate - but dad had 2 as was adopted by George Cann and wife Nell and they put Cann on the certificate as they apparently had not realised gradad had already registered.
I would love any info on Arthur as my mother was an only cjild so I grew up with no aunts uncles or cousins
