There are quite a few with the surname Lemon born in Scotland.

no-one has managed to find her parents - too early for BMDs - not in Ordiquhill church records. Several Possible Taylor families- really hit a wall

will try that - been to the cemetery and could not find any headstone - its a long way from Perth australia so a book would be great

He was probably really born in Banff - at least, that's what he said.
FreeCEN do this county reallocation in cross border parishes.
My dad's family came from a similar cross border parish, and FreeCEN did the same sort of reallocation with them. (It certainly makes searches easier).

yes. there has been no acknowledgement that she has even looked at it.
from the way the question was worded she wanted to find them herself and there was certainly some on the one i posted.

sorry - new to this - how do i acknowledge I have looked at the thread - I am in australia so times are different - 6 hours ago i was at work and 9 - 10 hours ago I was asleep - i have been really impressed with all of the work everyone has done on the family so a big thank you to everyone

I am in Australia too and I just keep checking my thread participation on a regular basis.

A useful site for burials is deaceasedonline.com It is free to search but pay to view. They have just recently added some Aberdeenshire burials. If you sign up with them they send you updates. They may not have the cemeteries you are looking for at present but are adding more all the time. It is useful as you can find all the burials in a particular lair even if the person is not named on a headstone. Of course there are many graves that have no markers as people just didn't have the money to spend on such a luxury. As deceasedonline are working from the cemetery records, they list all burials in the cemetery regardless of whether they have a headstone.
