Hi I wonder if anyone can help me I'm stuck trying to find my grandfather 's parents Fred Taylor ( a common name !!) in Oldham he was born in 1907 and married my grandma in 1930 ( Ida Welch). Ive been on lancashire BMD and there is quite a few to pick from. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be gratreful. |

Perhaps the best thing to do would be to order the marriage certificate:- |

If you buy your grandparent's marriage certificate it should name his father:- |

Lynne thanks for you help but I'm not sure if its the right Fred my mum has never mentioned a auntie called Rosie, but she seems to think he had brothers Clifford, Wilf and william the latter being twins but I cant find anything to confirm this, I'll get round to ordering a birth certificate/marriage certificate (thank you also Kath) |

possible marriage of parents but there are a few Taylor/Ingham marriages but this is the only one I could see in Oldham. You need Fred's birth cert to prove |

Hi My mum has just told me that the Twins Wilfred and william died abroad during the 2nd world war, but she couldn't give me any more details, what is the best way of finding out (she doesn't know which branch of the forces they were in) |
