I have found the marriage of Charles Edward Taylor (b.7th May 1984) to Florence Mabel Keen on 7th February 1917 at Lewisham, London. Family rumour is that he had three children and married a second time, this time in Welling, Kent, in 1964. Lewisham and Welling are close to each other so i assume he stayed in the SE London area. |

Have you looked on free bmd for children with surname Taylor, Mother's name Keen from 1917 onwards? |

I am assuming you mean he was born on 7th May 1884, though I have not yet found a death. |

If she were 25 in 1917 she was born in 1891/1892. |

I thought 424 births in 1917 and 399 births in 1918 for Taylor in London was a large number so had picked the SE London registration districts for detailed research and found nothing for a number of years. |

Sorry, Florence had no rank or profession so she may have been living at her paternal address at the time. |

Is this her death? If so not enough time for lots of children. |

After 1911, to search for children on free bmd you use both Father's surname, and Mother's maiden name. |

But not by much. |

If that is Florence's death that Ozibird found then they probably had no children. The district of Lewisham matches the marriage. |
