Seeking information on the family and ancestors of both George TAYLOR, who was born Pecklow, Kent 1839, and Frances MAITLAND, who was born at Maidstone, Kent. They were married 1865 at Maidstone, Kent. They came out here to New Zealand aboard the New Zealand Company ship 'Rodney' in 1875 and were accompanied by the first 4 of their children. George's parent's were George and Sarah (nee ACOTT), both probably also born in Kent. His grandparents were James and Mary (nee HENHAM). Frances's parents were Lawrence and Jane (nee GILBERT).
