Valerie Knight.nee Taylor. I am looking for information on my father RICHARD (DICK) TAYLOR from Derby. He was in the army at Colchester in 1937 (RSM I think). By 1939 he was a Captain.and was a clerk in the War Office. His home address was 102 Eden Street, Alvaston, Derby. He had a brother Cyril, sisters Win, Vi, Marian and Christine. He left the army at the end of the 2nd W.War. Win and Vi lived on Nottingham Road. Richard (Dick) died in Doncaster in the 1980s or 90s. Christine lived in Gainsborough around the 1950's and married someone called Bob Normandale. They had a daughter Deborah. Cyril was a barber in Derby before moving to Doncaster. Also information on his father THOMAS TAYLOR of Derby who died some time after November 1935. |
