I would like to locate any Taylor family members from Northern Ireland Details as I know them. My GG-Grandfather was called Absalom Taylor, his father may have been James Taylor. I believe Absalom married (or partnered) with MaryAnne Gilkinson date of union unknown. They had 5 children all born in Lurgan, Co. Armagh. Ireland (now Northern Ireland) After the death of their mother, Absalom placed the girls into an orphanage and the boys' were taken to a farm in Ontario Canada as bonded labourers. Samuel ran away (date unknown) left James behind - no one has seen or heard from James since.
