Seeking relations of my grandmother Ida May Hale, born Bardfield, Essex, 1912. Married several times, the first one being John Taylor, a farmer from Kelvedon, Essex, born in 1906, he had brothers called George and Thomas; parents were Sarah and Thomas Taylor; all farmers, and at one time farmed in Kelvedon; would also love to hear from that side of family, as i have no contact with George and Thomas's family. John went on marry Teri, settling in Kent and was reuntied with my father Ronald John Gemmill (formally Taylor) a few years before his passing in 1992. Ida had a sister Edna Alice who married George Alderton (first world war pilot) and a sister called Hazel who married Frank King and emigrated to Canda in th 1960's; she also had two brothers, Francis John who married Dorthey ? producing uncle Stephen and Tim! and Levi Scott, know as Scott who at one time was a tutor to the raj in India. Ida devorced John Taylor and went on to marry James Gemmill, Edger Wilfred Gilson and Herbert William Scates! Any info would be appreciated |
