Trying to find my g-grandparents John and Sarah Taylor. Sarah's maiden name was Jones. John might have been born in Gateshead or Newcastle. Either John's mother or Sarah's mother was called Isabel or Isabella. John and Sarah moved from Sunderland area to Hartlepool early 1900s. Known children are John, William, Joseph (my grandfather b. Sep 1903), Sophia, Jane, Henrietta and Elizabeth (twins), and Nora. My grandad's full name was Joseph Edward Richardson Jones Taylor and I believe the Richardson and Jones refer to maiden names of grandmother or mother. My grandfather married Agnes Borthwick at St Joseph's Church, Hartlepool in November 1926. Hope there is someone out there who can help. |
