I am try ing to find out about my Grandfather Albert Edward Taylor but know next to nothing about him. He was born around in 1883in England. The onlydefinite information I have is that he went to America and was working as a Chauffeur/Mechanic in Flushing Meadow Long Island. My father was born there on 14 June 1918 Alexander Weston Robertson Taylor always known as Weston. My Grandmother was Mary Robertson (maiden name) and was working as a nanny to a family in Long Island. They lived at 122 Washington Road Flushing. My father was baptised In Lake Como Nwe York/New Jersey? She brought my father back to Haddington Scotland around 1922/23. Nothing, as far as I know was ever heard of Albert Taylor after that. My father did try to trace him several years ago and there was possibly a half brother to my father living somewhere in England but now deceased. Does anyone know if there are any other living relatives of Albert Taylor in this country or in the USA. Thank you. Kay |
