I am trying to track down my Step-Dad's mother's relations. My dad's mother was named Rosina Taylor Born around 1900 and passed away in Davyhulme Manchester in the 1940s She Married Jack Gilbody who was born around 1900 and passed away in Davyhulme Manchester in 1986. My dad's uncle Walter Taylor was born in the 1920's in the Essex area he also had cousins named Joyce Taylor, John Taylor and Yvonne Taylor who also lived in the Essex area possably Dagenham who were related to his mum Rosina. Walter Taylor was a member of a Jazz band called Archies Band and he was the Drummer. My step-dad had hardley any contact due to a family rift so he is finding it hard to remember dates and unsure of any of his cousins getting married and having children. I know the detail is very sketchy but if anyone out there knows of this family I would love to hear from you so I can fill in the gaps of my step dad's family. My Step dad's name is Dennis Gilbody he had a sister called shiela and a brother called Ken and an older brother called Bunty who passed away as a toddler or baby. Ken passed away when he was 12 due to a ruptured appendix and Shiela passed away in her 30s I think leaving 2 children named Debbie and Chris who Jack Gilbody brought up. If any of this rings a bell please do get intouch. Many thanks Lisa |
