Hello...calling all Scottish Taylors to help me....Glen Taylor..I'm seaching for links for my father who was born November 26-1910 at 10 Mary Street,Johnstone,Renfrewshire and was named Alexander Taylor(no middle name)....his mother was Elizabeth Hunter and Elizabeth had a sister namely Bella and possibly a brother named Willy..Here's the curve..Elizabeth married William Taylor(carpet weaver on birth certificate I am holding) on Dec 10-1907 in Glasgow....BUT...my gm Elizabeth emigrated to Montreal Quebec in the 1920's with a THOMAS GLEN TAYLOR (not William). My father,Alexander, had a sister named Catherine who was born on April 30-1907......I honestly don't know if my true Grandfather was William or Thomas Glen...I believe William remained in Scotland(they may have been related as too much coincidence that last NAME was Taylor) and William may have married another and thus there would be descendants...THANK YOU !!!!! |
