ELEANOR ROSA nee TAYLOR (ELLEN) or (Ellie) my Great Nan ALSO ELIZABETH JANE TAYLOR (ELIZA) my great, great Nan ( I do not know if the two Taylors are related to each other ) The Only info that I have on my great Nan is as follows. Eleanor B 1887 She was married in 1910 to ---- Bowthorpe had two children from this marriage, George (Bill) B around 1911 and Victor (Vic) B 1915. She was widowed in 1917. ---- Bowthorpe died in WW1 and on the CWGC it says; husband of Eleanor Rosa Boyle (formerly Bowthorpe), of 171, Balaam St., Plaistow, London. knowbody in my family knows why formerly was put on this form. Up untill a week ago she was always only know as nan Boyle. We thought that she was a nee Boyle then married then married a Boyle again!!(So still puzzled) My Ggg Nans name was Elizabeth Jane Taylor B 1853 m -- Bowthorpe) so there may have been a possible cousin marriage (who knows) Ellen Then married? a Edward Boyle I am not to sure when she married Edward Boyle, they had a son also called Edward (Eddie) but their son Eddie going by photos was only a few years difference in ages. (Of his older half brother Vic) So they proberly married around the 1920s. Ellen and Edward were living in Colchester in Essex at some time. And Edward (senior) Boyle died somewhere in the 50s. Ellen Died in 1967 aged 80 and she was living in Gosport Hampshire when she died. Then Eleanor Rose Boyle If anyone can help or if any of these names are familier, any info would be much welcomed. I would love any information Many Thanks. |
