I am trying to find details of my grandfather, Walter Henry Taylor who died between 1946 and 1950. He died in Ebury Bridge Road, London SW. He had been a private in the Coldstream Guards and, so I am told served in the Boer War. He and his wife moved to Callendar in Perthshire some time after 1908 and, again so I am told, worked as a valet to Lord Esher having been his batmen. His wife was, I think, called Jesse. They had several children, Walter, Doris, Jesse and Ernest. |
