Family of Dorothy Bertha Thomas I am trying to find any information on my mothers family She was born on 25 August 1913 She lived in Bristol and her father was Alfred Henry he was a docker and her mother was Florence mary Adams.
She had 2 brothers George William and Kenneth Raymond he was killed with a cricket ball when young, also a sister called Joan.

This may be your grandma in 1881 living at "Part of School Building" Rowberrow.

George V aged 37 Gardener Head of Family
Mary A aged 33 Wife
Thomas H aged 6 son
Arthur G aged 4 son
Florance M aged 1

All born Rowberry

In 1901 Florence M Adams is a parlourmaid to a family in Wrington Somerset aged 21.....family surname of Scarth.

Sorry I have not replied before you have helped me lots of times.
yes I think this is my grandmother and my great grandmother and father.

Did you say that my grandmothers surname was Scarth.

Strange my mother was also born in Roeberry.

i wish I had more time to keep looking up all the information I need.

I never have time to look up the census thankyou once again you are wonderful

HI Dorothy,

Just looked back throug my links with you, Scarth came up as being the name of the household in which Florence Adams was a parlormaid, on the 1901 census.
