trying to locate the thomas,s of Sadwrn,Llanrwda area i was born 1938 my mother worked on Cwmbran farm.name Pearl.i have placenames such as Cwmrydd and Penrhiwhir andno,1,gelli deg llandovery.
my parents never married but she still tells me about him.
i have no other motive other than knowing of my father,or his descendants and closure to a lifelong search.
any info anybody please.

His surname was Thomas, your mother's was Venn?

Ah. You have a John Thomas born Llanrwda Carmarthen in your tree (I was checking trees for Thomas with place names you gave). It would be a good idea to edit your subject line to say something like

John Thomas (place of birth) (approx year of birth)

There are 17 people at GR with John Thomas-s born 1910-1920 in their trees. Have you tried contacting any who might be likely?

No clue about Welsh place names myself. ;)
