	Catherine - first of all please delete the duplicate thread before you get people giving answers on both - thank you I live in Cardiff and can tell you that St.David's Hospital on Cowbridge Road in Cardiff used to be known as the Workhouse. The original hospital has now been demolished and it is now a hospital for the elderly. I hardly think there would have been another workhouse in the city so it has to be St David's
