not sure if anyone can help, but thought that my g,grandparents Charles & Elizabeth Thomas who lived in Durrington Wiltshire only had 4 children have discovered that there was a 5th child who died but have no other information , we thought 1st child was b. 1891 others 1893,1897 and 1902 , obviously it is a long shot because i have no first name to go on would be great if anyone can help

when and where were they married?

i have them as being married 29years in 1911 census but i have not been able to find out where thats another story, I do know that Charles was in Jersey in 1881

yes it was daly she was born in gort co galway ireland

These births are for Amesbury , so maybe you can work out the 2 or 3 families in the area.
William born 1896 is not Charles and Elizabeth's as you have him born 1891.

It seems unlikely that there was a child after 1903 but if you search on Freebmd.org you can search from 1903 to 1911.

If Dinah was 93 when she died did she marry at age 73 or is that a coincidental name

If Charles was in the military, 2nd Battallion 12th Regiment in 1881, and Elizabeth was born in Ireland, they were very probably married in Ireland while he was stationed there, the deceased child could have been born there?

sure enough, William Thomas is living with his unmarried mother Dinah Thomas in Darrington in 1871. I had thought maybe she had just left it until her first husband died to get remarried, as one did, lol.

What I wasnt sure of was where the name Dinah as being his mother came from in the first place but it must have been one of those earlier censuses.

Yes Dinah was Charles mothers name and his parents didn't marry until late in life because he was already married ( naughty )
