Seeking info on my grandmother's family. Emily Thomas was born in Magor, Nr Newport, Mon. She married Alfred Mogford and they lived in Newport. She had 8 brothers and sisters, including Mabel, Amelia, Bessie. Their father was John Thomas (1847/48c)and mother Elizabeth Arnold. Would be grateful if anyone has any information on JOHN THOMAS' PARENTS. (Were they from Bishton?) and info on ELIZABETH ARNOLD'S PARENTS. I have a portrait photo of a young victorian couple, the message on the back is 'To Bessie with our kindest regards, 1897. I also have part of a victorian wedding photo of a member of the Thomas family. Would be nice to know who they are. Can anyone help. Thanks. |
