Trying to find Thomas

I'm looking for information on my gt.grandmothers family. Her name was Amy Thomas, parents Rosina and Matthew Henry Thomas. In 1871 they were living on Jurston St. in Lambeth, Matthew was a manure collector. In 1881 Rosina was married to William Lewis. Matthew Thomas died sometime during the previous ten years of typhoid, presumably picked up while he was working. I have been unable to find a marriage for Thomas and Rosina or a birth certificate for Amy, born abt. 1868, so do not know Rosina's maiden name. Amy grew up to marry Joseph Edwards who was in the printing trade. If anyone has any information on the Thomas family or any suggestions on further research it would be greatly appreciated.
