Please can anyone help? I am looking for information on an Eliza Thomas and family who owned a Cooked meat & Pie shop in Portmanmoor Road Splott Cardiff. I know Eliza was there in 1926 as I have seen a photo of her in a book on Cardiff. I am also looking for any information on Gwendoline Thomas who was brought up in a childrens home, possibly in or nr Canton Sth Wales ( Cardiff area). I know she had association with the Methodist Church and the Girls Brigade. The date would be around 1922-1938 . she was born in December 1921. Her bible was presented to her by A W Woodley supt. of the Memorial Hall Sunday School in 1935. I think this sunday school may have been in Canton. Does anyone know if this Sunday school existed or I am looking in the wrong direction! A long shot I know but I would be grateful for any information. Regards Chris |
