What to do next?? I'm trying to trace my brother who was put up for adoption in 1971. Information i have is birth name, d.o.b, place of birth, place of adoption & obviously birth parents names. Information i don't have is, new adoptive name ( although i have an idea of his forenames), date of adoption. Social services can't give me the date, or shall i say they won't give me the date. All they can tell me is that my brother went to them in 1995 to retrieve his files. I've posted messages on every relevant site on the internet, registered with contact registers and still nothing. Any information on where i should go next would be greatly appreciated. Birth Name: TIMOTHY WAYNE THOMAS, D.O.B: 27/08/1970, Place of Birth: EDGE BASTEN, BIRMINGHAM, D.O.A: ??/04/1971, Place of Adoption: MEADOW CROFT (mother & baby hostel), POPE LANE, PRESTON, LANCASHIRE. Possible Adoptive Forenames: MARK WAYNE ??? (surname unknown)
