Desperately trying to find my paternal grandfather Harold, born march 1903, as far as we know. Married Annie Humphrey in 1939 in London. Harold's father is listed on his marriage certificate as James Henry Thompson and his occupation as Carpenter, stage fitter. Harold died in 1945 in London from TB. Please help me find some information on the elusive Harold. We believe he had a sibling but information is non existent.

Did Harold have a middle name? What's the address on the marriage cert?

We dont know if he had a middle name as i cannot find his birth record yet. Information is sketchy to say the least. Believe he was married in islington, Highbury area of London. His wife, my nan Annie Elizabeth is still alive and edging towards her 102nd birthday but we cant get any information out of her as she seems reluctant to talk about Harold. All i do know is that they were married in the last quarter of 1939. My Dad was 3 years old when they married and they went on to have 2 girls after that. They lived in Roden or Rodan street i believe although cant be sure of the spelling. My nan was in service when they met.
