Help in finding Elizabeth's parents

I have M.C. of Elizabeth Thompson, she married on 24/2/1900, her Father is John Thompson, Labourer, I have ordered 1 B.C. which are not her( I thought she would have been born in Auckland ), but, on the 1911 census she says she was born in York, a second cousin says her date of birth was 7/7/1877 (she doesn't have a place of birth though ), which would tie in with age on M.C. 22 years, I have checked IGI and Ancestry BMD,but can't see a birth in York, can anyone help.

What was her Husbands name so i can pick them up on the 1901

Can only see 3 on the 1901 and none born with that birth year

That could well be it Paula, this 2nd cousin has got a few birth dates wrong

I will go and Check IGI with those dates and see if it shows her with a father called John.

If you order the certs you could use John as the checking point.

Was looking in the Middlesbrough area & still nothing

How old was Thomas when they married as it might be worth to try and pick him up in the 1891 then look again in the 1901
