Where is this? Nothing in England or Wales for Elizabeth or Betty Thompson with MMN Davies.

Oh. I read it that the mother was born in 1931. A bit of punctuation can do wonders.

The only way to find out her parents names is to buy the certificate.

You can buy certificates at ... www.gro.gov.uk

They cost £7 and when asked if you have the GRO number tick YES

The GRO numbers are just the Volume & page numbers which I have given you with the Registration details

I had a look for marriages, but none in Wakefield, lots in the surrounding area though.

Howard, it is not advisable (indeed is against Genes Reunited rules) to have more than one thread on the same family connection. Everyone will get in a muddle and duplicate work.

Julcoe, it is likely the Wakefield Betty.

Howard, I would delete this thread and transfer the details to the other one. Then we can all see what has been done on the family.

Howard, you must take the time to write down what has been found for you already on your three threads, delete them all, and start a new thread with ALL the information from the others.

I am good at juggling threads, but not that good!
