Member Since: June 2004 Posts: 0 Send Message	My Great grandfather William (Marmaduke) thompson was a Brass Finisher on his marriage certificate and in the 1891,1901 censuses? Does anyone know what he did? I've tried various websites to try anfd find out but no joy as yet. The sites I have tried are GENUKI, rootsweb, rmhh and one other who's name eludes me at present! If anyone has any idea what he did or what a brass finisher was I would be eternally grateful! Thank you lisa sutcliffe
