Member Since: October 2004 Posts: 7 Send Message	ELLEN THOMPSON I am looking for any relatives of Ellen Thompson who we believe was born in Derby - not sure though. She had a daughter Edith May Thompson b. 1897 d.1979. This daughter was given up for adoption to a couple called Mary and Joseph Johnson (he was a journeyman butcher) and they lived in Sachveral Street in Derby. We cannot find any trace of Ellen who we think was born in about 1880 or thereabouts. She was a domestic servant. We all have red hair so that might be a clue. Thanks for any help. Sue (St Albans)
