Hello I am researching THOMPSON families in Wakefield and parts of Sheffield. William Thompson, had a son named William Thompson born 1841/42 Wakefield.Dont know who his mother was. William born 1841 first married ELIZABETH GREAVES, she died in 1881 and William married FLORENCE NIGHTINGALE SARGENT IN 1885 Sheffield, he died before 1910, Florence died in 1910 in 296 Bolehill Road, E. Bierlow. Her step son Arthur Willie Thompson registered the birth and his address was 52 Walkley Crescent Road, Sheffield. William and Elizabeth had Gertrude Alice born 1867 Ruth Mary born 1868 Harry Greaves born 1873 Maud J born 1876 Arthur Willie born 1879 All born Sheffield. In 1881 they all lived in 66 Green Lane, Sheffield. William and Florence had THOMAS ALBERT born 1886 (my husband's gfather) Harold V born 1888 Ernest C born 1890 Florence born Elizabeth Rose born 1892 They lived in 60 Hill Street, E.Bierlow Hope someone recognises one of their ancestors Cheers Brenda Wirral |
