Member Since: January 2005 Posts: 1 Send Message	Linda Butler(nee Thompson). Hi , I'm trying to trace my Thompson ancestors. So far I have found out that my Great Great Great Grandfather was James Thompson who was born in Wootton, Northampton. He then was moved to Cambridge were he met and married francis,(she was born in waterbeach), they had 4 children( Charles, Henry,Hannah,William. Henry was my Great Great Grandfather, Henry, married Harriet, they had 7?children, (Amy Harriet, Aubrey,Barnabas,Ernest F, George W, Henry James, William George. Aubrey became my Great Grandfather. He married Olive, they had 12 Children!,(William, John, Christopher,Bert, Maud, Leonard, Harry, Ernest, May, Jim, Olive, Vera. Ernest was my Grandfather. He married Gladys. They had 2 children, Brian and Kenneth. Kenneth was my dad. Since James, all happened in Cambridge but I would like to hear from anybody who thinks they are related by any of the names above, so I can build our tree further. Also if anyone knows further back than I on roots from Wootton, please get in touch. best regards Lyn.
