Member Since: February 2005 Posts: 0 Send Message	Does anyone have any information on a Robert Thompson . Roberts father John was in the army so Robert was born 1868 at Dover. John returned to Alverthorpe Wakefield before the 1881 census. Robert married a Ada Oldroyd sometime before 1906 when their only child John was born. Young John spent his childhood in a foster home and we have spent 2 years trying to find out why. John was my sister in laws grandfather. Barbara G
