hi, I'm trying to find any information about my g-grandfather William Thompson born circa1866/7. He was a glassblower/maker in Edinburgh at the turn of the century and married Margaret Beveridge nee Boylan in 1900. She had a son Thomas from a previous marriage and a son James (my grandfather). Margaret died in 1916 and at that time William is listed as a railway labourer. I can't find a birth or death cert for William but I know he was 34 in 1900.His parents are listed on his marriage certificate as William and Elizabeth Thompson nee Turnbull but I can't find any information on them either. Anybody with any info or willing to do searches for me in England I would be very grateful even if I could find a small clue to help me continue my search as I'm well and truly stuck with him ! Thanks heaps |
