LONG SHOT but Trying to find any living members of My Grandfather WILLIAM FLORANCE THOMPSON I know he was married to my Nan Anne Moffat and they had Children Stella,Patricia(My Mum) and Billy He was also married to some one called olive and lived in Monk bretton in barnsley and their children included Ian Susan and Douglas I know Billy is now in rotherham but unsure to where exactly any information would be appreciated Thx

Hi - I am also descendant of Thompsons from Monk Bretton - Looking for John and Mary Anne Thompson and their children Martha, John, Christopher, Robert and Samuel who show in the 1841 census.
I think Christopher is my GGG grandfather who came to New Zealand aboard the Lancashire Witch as a soldier in 65th regiment of foot.

Can you given me any hints for searching the Monk Bretton area as really struggling
