Trying to find Thompson

I am trying to locate the family of my great-grandfather George Thompson and his wife Ann (nee Blundell). Their daughter Alice, born 1882 in Liverpool, was my grandmother. There were at least two other older children believed to be George and James. In the 1891 census, George is a widower and the family is boarding. In June 1900 Alice married John McEvoy in Christ Church, Everton. In December 1900 she had a daughter, also named Alice. The family lived in and around Scotland Road/GT Homer St. area until 1927. From 1927 to 1962 Alice Thompson McEvoy and family lived on Whinhowe Rd. in Norris Green. Apparently, one of her brothers lived directly behind her on Eldersfield Rd. for most if not all of this time. Alice and her brother apparently did not talk but my father Thomas used to play football with one of the Thompson children from Eldersfield Rd. - I assume it was one of his cousins. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated.
