Trying to find Thompson

I am trying to find out information on my elusive Thompson relatives! My great grandfather wa called Evan Thompson and was born in Wales in 1891 to Robert Thompson and Elizabeth Williams. Evan married Louisa Elliott and had seven children. They moved all around the country. I would like to find the parents of Evan's father Robert. I know that his mother is called Mary and was born in 1821. I do not, however, know her maiden name or the name of her husband. I know her husband wroked at sea because she is listed as a Sailor's Wife on one of the census'. I would be grateful for any information anyone has. Nicola |
