Trying to trace my gr-gr-grandparents. What I know is that John Richard Thompson b abt 1844 Ashby married Sarah Richardson b abt 1849 Worlaby in 1867 Glanford Briggs. Children I have records of are: Fanny b 1872; Mary b 1876; Sarah Jane b 1881; Annie Maria b 1885; Alice b 1886; John Edwin b 1888; Ernest Arthur b 1891; Charles William b 7/20/1869 married Mary Jane Richardson b4/23/1869 married 12/4/1893 (my gr-grandparents) their children included: Mabel Annie; Hilda Adelaide; Albert; Ethel; Effie May; Harold (my grandfather). Have received John's marriage cert - now know his father was George Thompson in 1867 he was a shephard. Mabel Annie Thompson & Harold Thompson both emigrated to Canada in the 1920's Would love to make contact with anyone with a connection |
