Hi Does anyone have any info on the parents of Richard Thompson born c1836 in Carlisle. He was a Whip and Thong maker as was his son James who was my Gt grandfather. Richards wife was called Mary and they had 8 children between 1858 and 1875,they were Caroline , Catherine, Isaac, James, Thomas,Maria, John and Richard. They lived in Thompsons Court in Castle St and later in Devonshire Walk. Any info on any of the family would be brilliant. |
