Trying to find Thompson

Hi, I am trying to find information on my paternal grandfathers family. His name was Alfred Henry Thompson born 1880 possibly in Scotland. He came from a large family that were fairground folk who at some stage travelled with a troupe called THURSTON & THOMPSON. I think Alfred may have had a brother Ted/Edward who in turn may have had a daughter Nellie. Alfred travelled to London looking for work sometime before 1910 where he met and married my grandmother Jane Maud Hill at West Ham registry office. By this time he may have been in the army, he served in France during WW1. Any info would be much appreciated. |
