BARNES/THOMPSON BUNBURY CHESHIRE I am researching the Barnes family from Bunbury. Peter and Hannah Barnes had children called Ellen (b. 1832, m. John Lovatt), Margaret (b. 1834), Peter (b. 1835 m. Francis Clarke), Thomas (b. 1837), John (b. 1839), Martha (b. 1841 seems to have had many illegitimate children before marrying Sam Brookes), William (b. 1843), Samuel (b. 1844), Sarah (b. 1846) and Charles (b. 1848 m. Emily Vickers). The children seem to use the surname of THOMPSON quite often (I do not know why - it has been puzzling me for some time now). If this rings any bells with you, please get in touch. |
