Trying to find Thompson

I am trying to find any relations of George Sprott Thompson (born approx. 1880) who was my grandfather. His family home was in Hawick, Scotland. He was a marine engineer from Glasgow who went out to India to work and married my grandmother in Calcutta in 1900. They were divorced in about 1910 and for this reason I have no contact with his family. According to my mother, He had two brothers, James who never married and John who did. so John may have some descendants who would be my cousins. I am now 70 years old and would love to know anything about my grandfather's family. Any information gratefully received. |
