Trying, without much success, to find any info re my great grandmother LILLIAN JANE THOMPSON (nee THOMPSON) born c1868 in Maidstone, Kent. I have been able to locate details of her marriage which took place on 3rd January 1886 at Emmanuel Parish Church, Forest Gate, Essex. Her fathers name was THOMAS THOMPSON and was a Smith by trade. On both 1891 and 1901 census and 2 of her children's birth certs she listed as just JANE THOMPSON. Having tried every variation of the spelling of Thompson, changing her forename and middle name around and also a visit to the Family Records Centre, I still cannot find an entry for her birth. Is there anyone out there who can help me find her???? |
