DOUGLAS DUNCAN THOMPSON Born 01 DEC 1917 Nagpur India. My name is David Thompson son of Douglas and Barbara Thompson. I have just leant about my fathers former life prior to his marriage to my Mother . I now belive that he was married before to a lady known to me as Sonny last heard of in the Southend area in the late 60's early 70's. I also believe I may have one or two half siblings; one by the name of Hamish. Douglas was the son of Douglas Berrel Thompson and Martha Grace Hamilton and spent most of his formative years in India and Pakistan. He was educated at Gora Gulli School in Kashmir then on to Stowe. Latterly he went on to a career in the RAF I don't want to upset anyone or interfer in thier lives but there is just me left and it would mean so much to me to know that I had some relative out there .If anyone knows anything about this part of the family I would be grateful if you could help. |
