Hi all, my name is Joy Lowry nee Thompson. I am trying to find out about my fathers side of the family, we don't know much about the family. I know that it has been the only son of the only son. My grandfather arrived in Australia just after WW1, his name was Joesph Henry Bullard Thompson. His father was Joseph Henry Thompson and his mother was Annie (Ann) Bullard. He was born in Sunderland county Durham also family folk law is that his father was killed in a zeplin raid in WW1. He had 2 sisters that we know of they were Winny (Winafred) and Kit(Katherine). They moved to Australia also. I would love to find out about the family. Thanks Joy |
