charles crane married ellen martin in 1898 and i can follow charles back but am totally lost with ellen martin born 1869 blackheath kent i i believe or so her 75 yr old grandson says and he has been right for everyone elses details that he can remember..any help with thanks in advance...boosie..

Do you have a copy of the marriage cert to find her fathers name. It may be easier to find her on the census that way.

not yet i only have her daughter elsie minnie crane 1903 birth cert and found their marriage on freebmd ..found charles 1881 born keston kent and he was gardener but cant find ellen

yes that them in 1901 is what i found and blackheath is kent i think and all other family are bromley /keston/chatham/greenwich/kent or surrey..so if that her in 1871 where are they in 1861.been looking but cant see ellen 1835 with a william or james husband..but thank you for your help yvonne

Ellen 1835 may not have even married in 1861 Their eldest child was only 8 in 1871
