Find Ancestors

i know the date that my great grandfather was born[day and month], however i am unsure of where he was born.how can i get a copy of his birth certificate if i don`t know the G.R.O.number? he was born in 1890 and married in 1912,i know who his wife was. please help

I'm willing to believe this could be him, but its a long shot

i have ordered the marriage certificate to find the fathers name,it was not known. also his death certificate for the place of birth.it said warwicks,in the census this only brings up one match in st martins, birmingham.we do not believe this to be him. i need the birth certificate to discount this only thread

unbelievable! thats gotta be right.would his birth in london be accurate enough for me to search the 1891 cencus as he would have been actually born then?

Without a fathers name its difficult to find someone especially if you dont know for sure where they are born.

Im having the same trouble with my husbands grandfather.. His marriage cert didnt have a fathers name.

I even have him as a married man on the 1891,1901 census and he says hes born in Stockton./

Only 3 born with the same name but non with his middle name. I have traced the others who are accounted for when granddad is married.

Cant find his birth with or without a mddle name. Ordered one cert which was wrong as hes still with his parents when granddad is married.

Looked for him with his middle name as a surname but still nothing.

My own grandmother is on the 1891,1901 census as nursechild then lodger with the same family.

I have her marriage and birth cert with same father occ photographer. Cant find her parents or their marriage anywhere.

Her mother registered her birth. Cant find any deaths either but a bit difficult without ages
