Trying to find information on John Taylor DOB 16/09/1892. He was born at 6 Bridge Street Haverton Hill Stockton - on Tees. His parents were Elizabeth Richardson & John Taylor.
John died in 1917 in WW1. I know that he lived with Amelia (nee Seavers formerly Scott) & Francis Allan, I think from the age of about 7 years and I am assuming that he was given the name Allan after he went to live with them as his birth certificate gives his name as John Henry Taylor.
He is a bit of a mystery as Amelia's daughter Agnes married a Taylor and she was down as his next of kin when he died as she received his medals etc. but I can't work out what the connection could be.
I would very grateful if soemone could help me.
Thanks
Val
