Well its an unusal name. You could try a blanket search of freebmd for births marriages and deaths in the area with the surname Camm. You could also check the local bt directory and send all Camms a letter (Ive done this for unusual names in my lines). And have a google in case someone else is doing a tree for them.

Oh yes, do google, lots of lovely stuff on line re the area and the Camm family. Wonder if this chap is a rellie?

Comment: Just discovered your site, excellent . My grand parents the Camm s, lived at the Maypole for many years before & after the World War II . Large family . One Uncle featured in a few photo s on site is Gordon Camm, usually photo d at the New Inn . I used to frequent Cannocks sweet shop, next to the Maypole on rare visits to Bream . An Uncle Bill Camm lived in Bream for some years after retiring from the RAF . Uncle Percy Camm, moved to Swindon on retiring from the RAF . Another Uncle, Percy Camm, nicknamed "Bowey" because of his legs, did some riding as a partime jockey, went to live in B ham . Uncle Charles, was partner in a Antique & Furniture business, in Bream before later moving in retirement first to Blakeney and then finally to Netherend . The least known of my Uncles was Darrell Camm, who left Bream to join the Merchant Navy, and resided in Plymouth . I have many happy memories of my occassional stopovers in Bream . Cakes from Downhams Bakery, watching films in the old Cinema & walking through the Forest and visiting the Devils Chapel .

Henry Edwin Thomas born 1899 (mother's maiden name Mary Elizabeth Camm). We are looking for descendants of Henry and his sister Mary Lilly (born 1900) at the Severn View Inn, Primrose Hill, Lydney, Glos. Mary Elizabeth Thomas (nee Camm born 1875) was my husband's grandmother whom he never met and he would like to make contact with any younger members of her family. We have a lot of information on the Camm family of Lydney but can't find anything beyond the 1901 census. Hope someone out there can help us - before it's too late !!
